(Tips to make your photos more eye-catching)

A photo of something blue using the rule of thirds:

This picture reminds me of one of my favorite hobbies, swimming, which I was unable to take part in this year due to COVID. I can't recall a single year where I didn't go to the pool in the summer season, since I learned to swim. However, I am hopeful and ready to get back as soon as this situation improves.

photo of something yellow using the rule of thirds:

This picture has one of my favorite toys from my childhood that I still have today. It is uses a simple yet intricate mechanism to change its color. Back when I was a kid, the color shifting seemed to me like magic and it is something I remember vividly from my childhood.

picture of something using 'fill the frame':

This is not a picture of some American or European kid. This little angel is from Chitral and I took this picture when I visited Chitral in 2018. She was actually the daughter of our host and Mash Allah the people of the north have really been blessed in the beauty department.

picture of a building from up high or down low:

These are the houses of the locals of Kalash Valley. Built on ancient techniques, these houses have held up very well considering the mountainous terrain of the area. Their customs and tradition align with those of the Pakistani people however they practice polytheism. Nonetheless, the people are extremely kind to tourists and very cooperative.

A nice horizontal portrait of a friend:

Meet Ali. He’s been a best friend for around 8-9 years M.A. We’ve gone through thick and thin together and I hope for everyone to have someone they can trust with their life. Anyways, the above picture is from our college years when we went to a food festival. The plan was very last minute but still we managed to make the most of it

nice vertical portrait of a friend:

This is Arham. We met during college and have been very good friends since. He might look very innocent and shy in the picture but belive me when I say that he may be the wittiest guy you'll ever meet. This picture was taken in Ushu Forest and his jeans can give you an idea for how thick the layer of snow was.

Using leading lines take a photo of a person or a thing:

You might not see it immediately but this picture is of the infamous Faisal Mosque situated in Islamabad. It is truly a marvel of architecture and no matter how much you read or hear about it, its splendor astounds you when you see it for yourself.

Using different leading lines take a picture:

This is a picture of stairs going down from the top of the Sialkot Fort also known as Sialkot Qila. It leads down to a really crowded market. Archeology experts have found the fort to be around 5000 years old. The fort was originally built for the protection of the city but is now used as a sightseeing point and houses few government offices.

A creative picture of yourself:

This picture brings back so many great memories. It is from a farewell trip to Swat, which our group of friends planned in the last months of A-Levels. It took place just before COVID brought everything to a standstill, so it was also the last get together where we weren’t scared to shake hands or hug each other.

P.S. the place where I am sitting was actually higher up than it looks in the picture and none of my friends dared to climb up. I did and got a really nice picture out of it.
